Sourcevine is for public social-data workflows such as reporting, monitoring, research, creator discovery, QA and automation where the inputs and outputs stay inside the public-data boundary.
Allowed Use
- Fetch public profile, post, comment, search, trend and transcript data from supported APIs.
- Cache or store responses for your internal reporting, analytics and operations.
- Use request ids, freshness fields and credit records to reconcile production usage.
- Build products or workflows that respect platform rules and applicable law.
Prohibited Use
- Do not request, infer, enrich or reconstruct private messages, private accounts, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, credentials or non-public profile fields.
- Do not use Sourcevine for harassment, stalking, doxxing, surveillance, intimidation or coordinated abuse.
- Do not use Sourcevine to make credit, employment, housing, insurance, education, law-enforcement or similarly significant eligibility decisions about people.
- Do not build follower identity databases, contact lists, cross-platform identity graphs or sensitive-trait profiles from Sourcevine results.
- Do not bypass rate limits, exploit bugs, evade suspensions, share accounts, resell API keys, or hide abusive traffic behind proxies or rotating accounts.
- Do not use Sourcevine to violate platform terms, intellectual property rights, privacy rights, sanctions rules or applicable law.
Automation and Volume
Respect the published rate limits for your plan and avoid traffic patterns that degrade service for other customers or create abuse risk for connected platforms. We may apply additional limits to protect reliability, margin and privacy.
Data Handling
Treat Sourcevine responses as public-data API results, not as permission to contact, profile or target people. If a platform deletes, privatizes or restricts a resource, do not use old cached data to evade that change.
Resale
You may use Sourcevine inside your own product or workflow, but you may not resell Sourcevine as a standalone raw-data feed, mirror the API, or provide shared access to your API keys without written permission.
Enforcement
We may reject requests, throttle usage, revoke keys, suspend accounts or remove access when activity violates this policy or creates material risk. We may also contact you to verify a use case before restoring access.
Questions
If you are not sure whether a use case fits, email support@sourcevine.io before shipping it.
