Does it include timestamps?
The free page shows the transcript text and summary counts. The API returns every timed segment with text, start and duration.
Does every video have a transcript?
No. If YouTube does not publish subtitles for the video, the tool returns an availability status instead of inventing text.
What does this not show me?
Anything private. Bios, email addresses, phone numbers and anything behind a login are never fetched or shown. If an account is private the tool says so rather than guessing.
Is it really free?
Yes, and there is no signup. It runs on a shared daily allowance, so if it is busy it will ask you to come back later.
